New OE Z32 Fan Clutch. Fits all 1990+ Nissan 300ZX models

The OE Z32 fan clutch uses a viscous coupling to control fan speed based on engine temperature.  It's a good design but after 20 years of use, most are simply worn out.  Some fail by becoming too loose resulting in the fan spinning slower, often eventually resulting in overheating and catastrophic engine damage. Others fail by locking down and spinning at full engine speed all the time. When this happens the increased drag will rob considerable power and you will hear the sound of a lot of air rushing at idle and low speed. 

Do not replace a defective Z32 fan clutch with a cheap aftermarket part from your local auto parts store! From vast experience we consider these cheap aftermarket replacements defective out of the box. They are always too tight resulting in excessive drag on your engine and do not look like the original Nissan part. 

Nissan produced the fan clutches with a slight difference for the naturally aspirated and twin turbo models.  Visually they are the same other than a yellow dot on the front face of the TT clutch and an an orange/red dot on the face of the NA clutch.

We also recommend checking and replacing the white plastic mechanical fan blade that mounts to the fan clutch. Years of heat and stress often cause deep cracks in the plastic around the base.  Purchase both at a discount HERE.
