Z1 300ZX (Z32) 5 Speed Shifter Rebuild Kit

A little time consuming because the new rebuild kit was so tight, but once I got it in, it worked great.

Great kit for rebuilding the shifter. Car ships smooth and the shifter is tight.

Exactly what I needed to rebuild my 10 year old z1 shifter.

Have ordered many of these kits; 5 stars for both rubber grease seals. (especially since you can’t find the upper one anywhere). However the plastic cage I only give two stars, not as good as the oem and is slightly smaller in diameter. It’s a loose fit in the cup when installed. Reuse the oem cage if it’s not broken or severely worn out. As for the retaining ring, ZERO stars, the thing is completely useless why even include it in the kit, reuse the oem retaining ring. Z1, please sell the rubber seals separately.

This is exactly what I needed to rebuild my OEM shifter on my z32 when it comes to the plastic centerpiece I just put a little slit in it and I slid it over the ball packed it with grease put it all together it worked great no play I'm very happy very good quality part

Perfect. This is what the OEM kit should have been. Great that this is the complete kit, and I don't need to rummage through all the pages to get all the parts needed to rebuild the shifter

Exact OEM rebuild REPLACEMENT kit part, along with new bushings, lower rubber seal, leather shift knob, leather shift boot, leather e brake boot, and new OEM center console panel my shifter is like brand nee again. No more extremely loose and wobbly shifter. Only took a few hours to disassemble, clean and reinstall.

If you are replacing the bushing might as well buy this. When I finished installing it, it was pretty stiff. After install, you will need to break it in but shifts good when finished.

If your shifter is wobbly or has A lot of play in it, I would buy this. I replaced the original shifter bushing and all the slop was gone.
