Z1 Roof Light Mount Panel
The Z1 Roof Light Mount Panel replaces the factory front insert on the roof rack, located just forward of the wetbox. This is the same location used by PRO-4X models equipped with factory roof lights.
Steel cross beams provide a rigid mounting structure for auxiliary lighting, while aluminum fairing and support components help reduce weight. All steel components are zinc-plated and powder-coated for improved corrosion resistance.
An integrated aluminum fairing behind the light mounting surface is designed to help manage airflow across the front of the roof rack, minimizing the impact of added lighting on wind noise and on-road comfort.
The panel is optimized to support up to 4 6-inch lights, making it an ideal match for the Morimoto BigBangers included in this package.
Morimoto BigBanger Lights
Morimoto BigBanger lights deliver powerful, focused output in a compact 6-inch form factor. They are well-suited for roof-mounted applications where distance and usable trail illumination matter without excessive size or weight.
When paired with the Z1 mount panel, the BigBangers sit cleanly across the front of the roof rack with proper spacing and alignment, avoiding the cluttered look common with universal brackets. These are Z1's light of choice for overhead lighting where space is not a factor, and raw power is desired. Choose between the standard output NCS and the high-output HXB.
Morimoto BigBanger lights are available in multiple beam patterns, allowing the package to be configured for different driving styles and environments.
- Spot - Best for forward distance and higher-speed trail driving. Spot beams project light farther down the trail and are ideal when the roof lights are used as supplemental long-range illumination.
- Combo - A balanced option that blends forward reach with usable side coverage. Combo beams are well-suited for mixed-use off-road driving.
Z1 Roof Light Wiring Grommet
Included with this package, Z1's Roof Light Wiring Grommet provides a clean, weather-sealed solution for routing wiring into the cabin. This eliminates exposed wiring and reduces the need for improvised pass-throughs. To wire your lights, Z1 includes four 4-pin DT pigtails.
INSTALLATION NOTE: Please be aware that Z1 DOES NOT include any other wiring solution, as we cannot predict how you intend to power these lights. Z1 prefers a switched power panel, and is our default choice when adding bulk aftermarket lighting.
