Z1 Roof Light Mount Panel
The Z1 Roof Light Mount Panel replaces the factory front insert on the roof rack, located just forward of the wetbox. This is the same location used by PRO-4X models equipped with factory roof lights.
Steel cross beams provide a rigid mounting structure for auxiliary lighting, while aluminum fairing and support components help reduce weight. All steel components are zinc-plated and powder-coated for improved corrosion resistance.
An integrated aluminum fairing behind the light mounting surface is designed to help manage airflow across the front of the roof rack, minimizing the impact of added lighting on wind noise and on-road comfort.
The panel is optimized to support up to 6 4-inch lights, making it an ideal match for the Morimoto 4Bangers included in this package.
Morimoto 4Banger Lights
Morimoto 4Banger lights provide high-output performance in a compact 3-inch housing, making them well-suited for roof-mounted applications where space, weight, and mounting flexibility matter. Their small footprint allows for a wider light spread across the roof rack without overcrowding the mounting surface.
This package includes six Morimoto 4Banger lights, evenly spaced across the Z1 Roof Light Mount Panel for balanced forward illumination and a clean, symmetrical appearance. The smaller form factor helps keep overall weight down while still delivering strong usable light for trail driving, overland travel, and low-speed off-road use. When paired with the Z1 mount panel, the 4Bangers sit low and secure, maintaining a purposeful factory-style layout rather than the tall, stacked look common with universal roof light setups.
Morimoto 4Banger lights are available in multiple beam patterns, allowing the package to be configured for different driving styles and environments.
- Spot - Best for forward distance and higher-speed trail driving. Spot beams project light farther down the trail and are ideal when the roof lights are used as supplemental long-range illumination.
- Flood - Designed for wide, even light spread close to the vehicle. Flood beams work well for slower technical terrain, campsite lighting, and general area illumination.
- Combo - A balanced option that blends forward reach with usable side coverage. Combo beams are well-suited for mixed-use off-road driving.
The 4Bangers can also be purchased in two output levels. The NCS is the standard ouput version offering up to 1005lux of light intensity in the spot configuration. Z1 Roof Light Wiring Grommet
Included with this package, Z1's Roof Light Wiring Grommet provides a clean, weather-sealed solution for routing wiring into the cabin. This eliminates exposed wiring and reduces the need for improvised pass-throughs. To wire your lights, Z1 includes six 2-pin DT pigtails (4m length).
INSTALLATION NOTE: Please be aware that Z1 DOES NOT include any other wiring solution, as we cannot predict how you intend to power these lights. Z1 prefers a switched power panel, and is our default choice when adding bulk aftermarket lighting.
