Product Description
This is for one Z1 Motorsports air intake for a Z32 (1990+ 300zx). Featuring a high flow serviceable cone filter, cast adapter including velocity stack, easy installation. A great choice for all Z32 models NA & TT. This intake is the same size as the "pop charger", bolts directly to the Z32 Mass Air Flow sensor, and can also be used on "dual pop" or "Doolz" dual intake configurations.
Getting air into the engine is key to producing power. The stock air box system uses paper filter elements and the path of air through the box offers resistance which means less air gets into the engine. Upgrading your filtration system to a high-flow filter that also features a velocity stack will enhance your engine's breathing capability.
A velocity stack is a radiused port which funnels the air into the mass airflow unit - this guides the turbulent gases as they pass through the filter element and enhances flow characteristics. The K&N style filter is one of the best filters available. It offers superior airflow over the rest and it is cleanable using the K&N filter cleaning kit available below.

This intake is very good and it is a very easy install. The only hard part of this install is the original intake box removal but once that is done it's very easy. It's good material and it helps the engine breathe better. It's also such a good thing to have when relocating the PTU with the Z1 relocation kit.

I bought this to replace an APEXi Power Intake that was installed by the previous owner and I am very happy with it. This filter is signifcantly larger than the APEXi was without causing any fitment issues. Installation was straight forward and the kit included all new hardware.

Fits good and unlike the knn filter adapter there is no nuts to fall out in your intake that could possibly go inside your motor, threaded. Sounds great too!

Fits and works great. Much better for maintenance and access than the stock box. Only deducting a star because my cone metal came with cosmetic scratch damage on it.

Fantastic purchase and definitely reduced a good amount of intake flow restriction, especially combined with Z1's silicone intake hoses. Install was easy and it fit perfectly with the old splash guard, gently resting against it on the bottom. You can zip-tie/safety-wire it up if you think it will flop around, but mine was in good condition and seemed pretty stiff. The removal of the old airbox was the most difficult part. I suggest finding a nice thin ratcheting wrench to take the two bolts out under the front of the bumper mount. Otherwise you can do it like I did and unscrew them 30 degrees at a time! XD

Purchased one for my NA a few years back, and about to get another for my TT. They are GREAT filters, and for this price it's pointless to buy the STILLEN filters or other brands in my opinion.
